DISCOFUN CLASSES
for 4 yrs to Teens

DISCOFUN classes are split into 3 ages groups. 4-6yrs DiscoTots, 7-9yrs DiscoMovers,10-teens DiscoGroovers.
We do lots of disco dancing with a Fun side to it. So there is NO exams or stress involved etc., (I feel they have enough of that at school). The children come here to have Fun, Exercise, build up their Confidence, social skills and learn dances to chart songs and the popular disco routines. It doesn't matter if they go wrong providing they are enjoying themselves, trying and doing their best and having lots of exercise so they are tired when they get home and go straight to bed!

Every week I give them stickers for "Doing their Best" "Smiling" and "Great Dancing". This encourages them to aim for something and they all receive a sticker by the end of the term without any favoritism. They also get a chance to go on the stage to show me what they have made up at home to their favorite music with a friend or on their own. This gives them confidence. You get to hear and see (peep) at them dancing and practicing in their bedrooms which is lovely.

Here are a few dances which we do, they include HSM, Mama Mia, Alexandra Burke, Alicia Dixon, Hey Baby, , Cha Cha Slide, Push the Button, Macarena, Pizza Hut, Amarillo and loads more. I also do routine dances to the chart songs Pussycat Dolls, Girls Aloud, Scissor Sisters, Hairspray and Dirty Dancing, to suit their age group.

I have also introduced ribbon sticks and Pom Poms and they are really enjoying dancing with them.

We don't do exams, we are just having fun!

At the end of the terms you will get to see your child in their class do their dancing and at Christmas we do a show with all the pupils for the parents, family and Friends to come and watch them.

They wear what they like, however I can order them a Blue T.Shirt with their name and DiscoFun written on it etc., On their feet they can wear trainers or jazz shoes or black pumps (nothing is compulsory) whatever they feel comfortable in.

You will need to enroll your child for the term and the charge varies on class and how many weeks are in the term. (Approx. £3.50 - £4.50 per class).
