FUNDANCE CLASSES
for toddlers/pre-school children with an adult.
FUNDANCE is a chance to exercise and have FUN with your child, grandchild or friend. We do lots of FUN dance routines to popular TV songs, party songs and the old favourite nursery rhymes such as Row, Row Your Boat, Bob The Builder, Teletubbies, Lazy Town, Dingle Dangle Scarecrow, Bananas in Pyjamas, Birdie Song, Agaddoo, Hokey Cokey, Follow Da Leader, Nellie the Elephant, Conga and lots, lots more. These one-hour sessions include a parachute, drinks and biscuits - yum yum! These sessions are lovely for any age.
Even the very young (10 months plus) get lots out of the sessions. They get used to the sounds and company, and gain great social skills. They also pick up actions, routines and vocabulary very quickly. Plus it's a good work-out for you! Babies still in their seats are FREE.
Toddlers (1yr-2½ yr) start to get the actions and movements, and to recognise the music. Boys tend to observe and practice at home and when they are ready, they join in at FUNDANCE. As they start to recognise the songs they copy the movements and develop their personalities. It's lovely to see them blossoming as they learn the routines, count and expand their vocabulary.
Pre-school (2½ yrs-4½yrs) understand much more and they begin to do all the dance routines, jumping, skipping, balancing on one leg and counting as well as mixing with other children and adults, all of which prepares them for school. It's exciting to watch them gain new skills as they dance. Another really nice benefit is that they get you (and even the whole family) to dance together with them at home - or at the supermarket, so I've been told!!!
Cost:£4.50 weekly or £4.00 per wk if paying for term. 1-hour session (includes orange, biscuits and parachute game; ½-hour session £3.50 or £3.00 . Each extra child is only £1.00.
